Yard Expansion
General Landscaping provides professional yard expansion services with a focus on quality workmanship, clear planning, and reliable project execution.

Many properties have significantly more usable space than the current landscape takes advantage of. Overgrown brush along property lines, wooded margins that have crept inward over the years, neglected corners that have become dumping grounds for yard waste, and areas overtaken by invasive species. General Landscaping provides yard expansion services that reclaim this underused space and integrate it into the functional landscape.
What Yard Expansion Involves
Yard expansion is not just about clearing brush and planting grass. Done properly, it requires a plan that considers grading, drainage, soil conditions, and how the new space connects to the existing yard. We start by assessing the area, what needs to be removed, what should be preserved, and what the soil looks like beneath the surface vegetation. We then develop a plan that addresses each of these factors so the new space functions as a natural extension of the yard.

Typical Yard Expansion Scope
- Selective clearing of brush, invasive plants, and overgrown vegetation along property edges
- Grading and soil preparation to establish a level, well-drained surface suitable for lawn or planting
- Stump grinding and root removal where trees have been cut or have fallen
- New lawn establishment through seeding or sod installation in areas
If there is part of your property that could be doing more for you — whether it is an overgrown margin, an unused slope, or a cleared area that was never properly finished — General Landscaping can evaluate the opportunity and develop a realistic plan to make it happen.
